Ranked at 6th in the Most Loved Workplaces 2021
Deckers Brands was ranked at 6th in America’s Most Loved Workplaces 2021 by Newsweek, a weekly magazine issued in the U.S. The brand was ranked top in the Apparel and Fashion category.
The list was created by Newsweek in partnership with the Best Practice Institute, a research institute specializing in leadership development. Data on the employees’ satisfaction survey and on various word-of-mouth and evaluation rankings, in addition to interviews with the company’s executives, are used to calculate the ranking on the list.
Thus, this ranking is based on the feedback and opinions from employees, and reflects the culture and contentment at work, which are the values that Deckers Brands always treasures. Deckers Brands will continue to create an environment where employees can “Come as You Are” and “Do Good and Do Great,” which are the values of our brand. -

Holding of the third stage of the Art of Kindness (AOK)
From September 27 to October 1, 2021, a Global Week AOK was held to be engaged in volunteer activities and to repay (do something good for) the regional community. The event reflects the values of Deckers, namely " Doing Great, Doing Good," in order to realize a stronger community and a better world.
In addition to our individual efforts, we have donated to the following organizations to support the environment, poverty, and the next generation of children. -
UGG supports the LGBTQ+ community based on the idea of gender inclusiveness. The brand releases products respecting the beauty that lies in individuality that may be different from others, with color variations inspired by PRIDE. We consider that the PRIDE movement is not a short-lived event lasting only one month.
We donated 2 million yen from the sales of PRIDE-related products at company-operated stores of UGG® throughout Japan and at the UGG® official website to the NPO organization Tokyo Rainbow Pride. This is a group aiming to realize a society where all people can live positively and enjoy their life as themselves and with pride, through the organization of parades and festivals and education and social enlightenment activities. UGG is supporting the organization’s activities. -

The money will be utilized for activities to support physicians, nurses, and volunteer staff who are engaged every day in medical work. We would like to support the front-line health workers.

As the third stage of the Art of Kindness Week, Deckers Japan will plant 12 trees in total in Ashigawa, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture through the Present Tree, for the forest restoration and the reconstruction of the regional community (scheduled in the spring of 2021). Seedlings that were planted will gradually become a part of the forest, realizing ecosystem conservation. We will continuously be engaged in activities for environmental preservation.

Deckers Japan donated 2 million yen for supporting the areas affected by the heavy rain and flooding in July 2020. Due to that, grave damage was caused in Kyushu Region, Shimane Prefecture, Gifu Prefecture, and Nagano Prefecture. Our thoughts are with people who were affected by this heavy rain.
