Progress and performance are reviewed at least once a quarter with supervisors and colleagues to promote and correct course, creating an environment in which all can achieve the best possible results.

Training

Training opportunities are always available to improve the skills needed to achieve goals. Our e-learning training is not limited by time or location, and we are expanding our contents daily, ready to provide you with the training you need anytime, anywhere. Many of the contents of e-learning courses are made by the employees of Deckers, so it allows the efficient learning of knowledge based on practical business. For those with concerns about their English skills, business English lessons are also available.

Online English lessons focused on business occasions can be taken at the expense of the company. Text changes according to the trainee's English level, from beginner to expert.
There are texts assuming actual situations, allowing the learning of English expressions that are preferable in business scenes at a reasonable pace.

Evaluation system and career paths

Evaluation and feedback are implemented once a year, according to the performance towards the goal set at the beginning of the term or the degree of contribution to the business. We talk about the performances so far to illustrate our assessment, but we focus on what we can and will do in the future.
There is no predetermined career path at Deckers. In addition to developing expertise in your current position, you will also have opportunities to work in different specialisms through internal recruitment or transfers. Managers will support proactive career development for individuals.

VERTICAL MOVES

There are usually four opportunities for promotion every year. Based on requests from the manager, promotion is judged and decided by comprehensively considering points such as whether the person is ready for the promotion and whether the position after the promotion is necessary for the organization. You can apply for work at the new level after the promotion.

LATERAL MOVES

You can apply for a new career through systems such as job posting and transfer to different departments.

REALIGNMENT

It is possible to change your role and limit the scope of responsibility according to your lifestyle to ensure a good work and life balance.
