RESPONSIBILITY Corporate responsibility
Impact on the environment and society arising from the development, manufacturing, and distribution of innovative footware and apparel is definitely not minor. Deckers recognizes the scale of such impact and its responsibility, and is ever changing to make its business sustainable.
While giving consideration to the environment at every aspect of its business activity, Deckers is aiming to realize a society where every person is respected and can stay true to oneself.
For Deckers, success means to realize good performance, activate stakeholders (shareholders), and implement business in a correct way both socially and environmentally.

Deckers has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), which is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, since 2016. UNGC provides support through an action agenda so that each company can accomplish SDGs to realize sustainable growth.
We selected and adopted SDGs items that are most related to our business and brand portfolios. We believe that we can make changes only through a focused and transparent approach, and set specific goals for FY2020 in accordance with the items adopted. We believe that the goals set under themes such as materials, waste, water resources, gender equality, quality education, chemical products, climate change and clean energy, and human rights will hold us accountable for our activities, and be useful for understanding the progress and commitment.
